Job Purpose:
- Seymour Staffing is seeking a Production Manager to join the team at our client’s manufacturing facility in Youngsville, NC . Candidates will be responsible Manages all manufacturing operations including extrusion, oven, packaging, sheet conversion, cladding, and batch oven. Must have extrusion experience.
Job Requirements:
- Directly manages three Shift Supervisors and a Cladding/Sheet Conversion Supervisor.
- Indirectly manages all manufacturing associates (75+) through the supervisory staff.
- Manages all manufacturing operations including extrusion, oven, packaging, sheet conversion, cladding, and batch oven.
- Plans, schedules, and coordinates departmental activities to fulfill sales orders, meet inventory requirements, and deliver manufactured products in a timely manner.
- Any and all other duties assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Will have a thorough knowledge of all manufacturing methods, techniques, and equipment.
- Must be familiar with product construction and application.
- Must have complete knowledge of production scheduling and manufacturing operations.
- This position requires that the person be a highly organized, self-motivated individual.
- Must have strong leadership skills, with excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Must be able to manage multiple tasks and priorities and easily adapt to changing situations.
- Must be computer literate, particularly in shop floor control, production planning, and inventory control applications.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
- Regularly required to sit, stand, walk, bend, and lift objects of up to 50 lbs.
